Too much trouble to get connected over home wifi

I give up. Bonjour is running. Firewall has port 51001 open (Im not forwarding my public port through the router just so I can use my phone on my local network). Iphone syncs over wifi. IP is correct. Profile name is correct. Seriously this is too much work for such an expensive software client to have a peripheral app be so flawed. At this point I dont care if I could get it working.

Update: After installing apple bonjour printing client, then setting up a new account I was able to connecting to Remote Mic App but not add it to my old profile. I then was able to backup the Remote Mic profile, hunt down the backup, go into the "backup" subfolder and copy in *all subfolders* of the backup subfolder in my real profile (wired mic) and was at least able to salvage all the training and vocabulary I had built up from hours of using Dragon. If I could give this app negative stars I would.
