Come on … how about an update?
UPDATE: Still… waiting… for an update. Last updated Nov 2012. It’s March 2014. What? I think this company made an application for the iPhone, and walked away. Dictate 3 on the Mac is terrible now, too, doesn’t work with Mavericks very well at all. I’ve stopped using it and either type or use the built in dictation in Mavericks. Nice work, Nuance. Completely useless. Negative stars, if possible.
UPDATE: Still waiting for an update that will disable auto lock -- what is wrong with this company -- last updated in Nov. 2012? Still uses the iPhone 4 screen size. Come on. Downgrade to one star til you show up with an update that fixes the issues that have been around for almost a year!
This is a great application, and makes Dragon Dictate on my Mac amazing and enjoyable to use.
However, I am only giving it 3 stars right now, because the app should disable auto lock when it is open (this is possible, as other apps like GoodReader do it). Right now, when auto lock occurs as you are dictating, the app stops communicating with the computer--not great if youre wandering around the room dictating, and you return to find out that the last five minutes didnt go through…
Also, would be great if the app were updated to take advantage of the iPhone 5s screen size, and if the app had a bigger on off button (as that is nearly the only button you use on the app!)
Thanks, Dragon, for a great app--fix the last bits, and Ill update to 5 stars!
