The app works really well and functions fantastically. Plus, its a great alternative to a headset. But it needs to be updated to fit iOS8 and more modern devices such as the 5, 6, 6+

As so many have said, trying to connect an iPhone to the computer using the app is ridiculously difficult. This is like the early days of computers and not what I would expect from an Apple/Nuance combination.

Have downloaded the app, updated it, and cannot, after six weeks, get the remote app on my new iPHONE to connect to my iMAC. Cannot get anything to connect or talk to each other or recognize. It’s like this app was not developed to work with Dragon Dictate for Mac. Support from Nuance is non existent. Avoid this software and company like AIDS in a convent.

Worked great until update to windows 10. Now it cant connect. It can find my PC but says it cant connect when I push mic button.

Could not get this to recognize my computer for a month and Dragon would freeze if I tried NOT to use it. Finally got the old headphone to work after ~30 days of this nonsense. Never... EVER got the remit mic to work.

The connection between my phone and my laptop is in and out at times. I wish this also offered a Bluetooth connection, although, Im not sure if that technological capability yet exists. I think this may help with the connection and sometimes large lag between my voice and the dictation being transferred to paper. With some updates and tweaks this app could prove to be worth a couple of bucks to keep it improving with each update.

In a world where it seems that almost every Apple product has a supernatural ability to connect and work right out of the box, there is no excuse for something this astoundingly poor. I could not get the program to take dictation at all on my laptop, even when using a microphone. So, I was happy that they offered this external application. However, after spending two hours trying everything, including what many other suggested in comments on websites, I could not get this to work. It repeatedly told me to press a certain button, but that button did nothing. I tried many different IP addresses. It would not recognize my computer at all. This is really all just very basic stuff, and the same problems have been reported to the company for at least two years. It is completely unacceptable that they continue to offer such a shocking the shotty piece of software without the slightest attempt to upgrade it or provide suitable information to people who want to use it. Incidentally, I dictated this entire review using my iPhone, and it seems to work better than this quite expensive product that is designed to do exactly that.
